Microsof company Office 15 technical preview begins

microsoft project 2010
Microsoft is kicking heli-copter flight technical preview for it has the microsoft project 2010 client, servers and cloud products and services today, January 30!

A beta of all the same project professional 2010 deliverables are going to be available to the community in "late summer, " according to a new post on the microsoft project 2007 Executive blog!

Microsoft officials are not commenting within the features in any a part of Office 15; on the planned release-to-manufacturing (RTM) or maybe general availability date; or on whether the technical preview include a version of Office that will work on Windows 8 upon ARM! (I asked about these types of!) Update: Also, for those asking, we also have virtually no idea on platform-support specifics - like whether this preview furthermore encompasses the rumored Business for iPad; and whether it carries a separate non-touch-centric Office 15 update for anyone not using tablets/touch-enabled netbooks!

I've heard from our contacts that Microsoft's goal will be to RTM Office 15 with the end of calendar 2012! I've heard the Softies are wavering forwards and backwards between calling Office 15 "Office 2012" as well as "Office 2013! " (If the goods RTMs very late while in the year, they may opt with the 2013 name!)

With Office 2010, July 2009 was the date from the tech preview release! November 2009 was the public beta! February 2010 was your release candidate! Release to manufacturing was a student in April 2010, and general availability has been June 2010!

Microsoft chose the participants because of its Office 15 Technology Ownership Program (TAP) system earlier this month, at least according one tweet I caught (and which the sender removed, though not before I had to be able to grab a screen shot from it)!

Microsoft typically includes pick partners and customers around its Office TAP method!

There have been comparatively few leaks about Office 15 currently! One tidbit we've heard is the fact that client suite will likely add a new application that will be codenamed "Moorea! " Moorea sounds much like the former Office Labs' Canvas regarding OneNote, which allowed testers to navigate and edit notebooks inside a new way by supplying a high-level canvas-view of their content!
